Who are we and what do we do?

The Aeronautic Institute is a company from Extremadura of recognized prestige across the country of Spain despite its recent creation in 2015. This company is dedicated to providing training and services in the aviation sector.

Our main lines of services include but are not limited to:

Aviation Training.

Technical Aerial Works with Drones.
(Inspection of Infrastructures, Aerial Topography, Precision Farming..).

Aeronautics Training and Flight School

Aeronautics trainning and the Flight School are both offered for commercial and private aviation with and without crew (RPAS, UAV’s, Drones).

We have our own installations in El Moral Airfield, situated in the southwestern part of Spain (38º 20′ 35′»N 6º 15′ 51″W) where you can also find the Tourist Complex El Moral Hotel **** with a restaurant and a wine cellar as they are experts in oenologic tourism and offer their services to all the European Aerial Tourism in the area. Extremadura is the region with the higher levels of sunlight in Europe.

Trainings are currently running all over Spain and Portugal.

Certifications are expedited by the ATO, authorized by the Aerial Security State Agency (AESA Autoridad Aeronáutica Española under the European Aviation Safety Agency).

Technical aerial works with drones

Aimed to support Public Administrations and big companies in the development of road infrastructures as well as high-ways, railroads, bridges, hydraulic structures…etc.

Monitoring and periodic tracking of works, control of work certifications, photogrametry, volumetry of materials and end of work promotional videos.

Cartography and aerial photography

A basic tool to create the cartography is the photogrammetry which allows us to take measurements and determine the geometrical properties of the objects and their spacial locations using photographs. The use of the bidimensional information obtained from these photographs is managed and interpreted using graphic design, geographic information, tele-detection and photointerpretation programs.

Topography

Cartographic representation aimed at hydrography, vegetation, topography and planimetry to include a complete study of population, communications, industrial activity…etc. The digital elevation model will be the basis for the creation of many of the maps.

Inspection of high voltage electric wiring

The technology of Remote Control Aerial Systems has experienced an incredible growth in its applications to civilian applications. These development will increase in the future under the umbrella of an stable legislation and the support of the outcomes of the first industrial applications.

Electrical lines and substations usually have elements that are situated at a certain height and away from the reach of a people for safety reasons, also electrical lines have linear infrastructures that might follow a course of difficult access. In this kind of scenario, the use of aerial vehicles becomes extremely useful to allow us to have direct and close access to all the elements of the installations.

Monitoring services

The Aeronatic institute offers monitoring services and timely reports documented with images and aerial videos to public and private companies in relation to works that include but are not limited to:

  • Inspection of infrastructures of difficult or dangerous access,
  • Panoramic imaging to support decision making,
  • Photographic plant of any construction and roof inspections,
  • Bridges and dams,
  • Electrical wiring.

Prevention of Forest Fires. Night Fire Fighting

The maturity achieved by the technologies related to piloting and control of unmanned aerial systems allows us to create innovative operative options like the ability to spray (liquids) and spread (powdered solids) and important amount of an agent at an specific programed spot in the atmosphere.

Inspection of petroleum refinery towers

Actions in environments with radiologic or toxic risks

Risk factors caused by humans in the development of industrial activities such as radioactive leaks, fires, contaminating residues as well as in the exercise of a number of sports practiced in different environments (nautical sports, high mountain, skiing…etc) are perfect scenarios to work with drones.

Search and Rescue

Unfortunately, we are too often witnesses of natural disasters that take the lives of many people such as tsunamies, earthquakes, floods, fires..etc.

Many lives can be saved after a natural disaster when the multidisciplinary rescue team is able to perform a quick and precise analysis of the situation. A global aerial vision of the disaster will support the right decisions for action.

Precision Farming. Corps management

Precision farming is an agricultural concept which applies to the differentiated management of the crops on the basis of the knowledge of the existing variety in an agricultural holding.

In order to characterize this variety we use technologic tools such as the Global Positioning System (GPS), plant-climate-land sensors and multispectral images obtained from satellites, plains or SARP.

Data complied from all these sensors is digitally saved as tables and maps from which to generate the information that the farmer will have at the time of making a decision on the crops (fertigation, pruning, selective thinning..etc).

The main goal of Precise Farming is to achieve greater economic, environmental and social returns increasing competitiveness through higher efficiency in the farming practice.

Geology and Mineralogy

Mineral mining activities and the extraction of hydrocarbons from the subsoil require a series of works. Initially prospection works will determine where the deposits are located to later explore and investigate in order to learn about their morphology, characteristics and properties. Completed the study, the company will be able to initiate the extraction of useful minerals for its transformation into marketable products.

Security and Frontier Control

Drone systems can be used for different activities related to security and more specifically for border surveillance.

Other Services
